OUR MISSION

 

Founded in 2011, Young Professionals of Aggieland is an organization that is committed to fostering the growth and development of young professionals in the Bryan-College Station area. Through a wide range of networking opportunities, professional development programs, and community involvement initiatives, YPA empowers emerging leaders in their 20s - 40s to achieve their personal and professional goals and make a significant and charitable impact on the Bryan-College Station community.

We’re excited to announce that official membership for YPA is now available! As a member, you’ll enjoy exclusive perks and more opportunities to get involved. Annual membership fee is $25 or $50 depending on your employer’s status as a Chamber Member. Texas A&M Chamber status is varied from each college/department

Professional Development

YPA is committed to the growth and success of young professionals by offering a wide array of professional development programs. These programs aim to enhance the skills, knowledge, and networks of members, equipping them for success in their careers and beyond. Through career advancement workshops, networking mixers, guest speakers, and providing access to mentors in all different industries, YPA is the perfect place to develop new skills, launch your career, and expand your professional network.

Health & Wellness

The health and wellness of our members are central to the mission of YPA. Recognizing the importance of physical, mental, and emotional well-being, YPA organizes regular events, such as Rise & Grind yoga sessions, group workouts, and charcuterie classes, to promote healthy lifestyles, stress management, and overall fitness. If you’re interested in Fitness Boot Camps & Workout Sessions, Mental Health Awareness Programs, Healthy Living Challenges, and Wellness Retreats, YPA could be the perfect place for you
to launch your wellness initiatives this new year!

Community Service

Giving back to the community is a core value of YPA. Through various service initiatives, YPA members contribute to the local community and beyond, aiming to make a positive impact while fostering a spirit of social responsibility. YPA organizes regular volunteer opportunities, including charity events, food drives, and outreach programs, where members can give their time to local nonprofits and organizations in need.

Networking Events

In addition to professional, wellness, and service initiatives, YPA understands the importance of building strong, lasting relationships among members. Social events provide a platform for members to unwind, enjoy each other’s company, and build a sense of community. Through monthly socials and happy hours, themed parties and celebrations, and outdoor social events, YPA hopes to give members the opportunity to build community in the cities they call home!
