Leadership Brazos is designed to promote and foster the development of our community leaders. Our program acquaints participants with the area’s assets, needs and opportunities, while providing a forum to discuss community challenges with representatives from industry, government, the media and human services.

Our participants spend one day per month, over the course of nine months, in this program. Thirty six participants are selected every year in a highly competitive application process.  Applications are chosen by a review panel made up of Chamber Board of Directors and the Leadership Brazos Alumni Association's leadership council. The applications are evaluated in an anonymous/redacted (i.e., blind) process. To learn more, click here!

The Leadership Brazos Alumni Association (LBAA) is a continuation of the LB after graduation. The goal of this program is to provide opportunities for LB alumni to reconnect, strengthen their networking with all LB alumni, and financially support the programs associated with LBAA’s mission. LBAA hosts seasonal events as well as an annual alumni event that welcomes over 200 Leadership Brazos graduates. These events not only bring LB graduates together, but also provide financial support through The Royce Hickman Leadership Scholarship and LB scholarships. By participating in LBAA, members also have the opportunity to positively impact those experiencing the program for the first time by meeting with current LB participates throughout the year.
